Nicolai is very consistent in their compositions and it feels like Patricia never makes clumsy, filler fragrances just for the sake of it, Amber Oud is no less. My personal opinion is that you can buy anything from this brand with your eyes closed. Even if it is not to your personal taste, you will know that their fragrances are well crafted and great ingredients have been used.

This one is challenging to recommend because it’s a strong, old-school, in-your-face kind of scent. Don’t get me wrong, the composition is done well, and it is true to its name. The natural oud is wonderfully stinky. That being said, it might not be for those who have just started their journey into the world of perfumes, and it is not a safe blind buy. Four stars only because I can’t wear it often, because it is not my style to impose my scents on others.
