Scent Description:
Salome opens with a burst of citrus—bitter orange and bergamot—giving a bright, sharp lift that quickly yields to rich floral tones of jasmine, Turkish rose, orange blossom and carnation. These are not shy or demure florals: the jasmine in particular has indolic depth, and the rose is plush and assertive. Soon after the floral heart reveals its more animalic flank: hyraceum (also called Africa Stone), castoreum, and touches of tobacco and cumin introduce a musky, leathery, smoky and slightly feral character. In the base, oakmoss, patchouli, birch tar, hay and styrax provide a damp, warm, slightly resinous woody-chypre foundation, while vanilla softens and sweetens the final stages. The evolution moves from provocative heat to a darker, intimate seduction. The fragrance family—animalic-chypre with floral and resinous woods—helps frame this as a perfume that is dramatic, vintage-inspired, and richly textured.

This is a “sexual” Fragrance , a sex on the skin Fragrance because of the animalic notes. Not crowdpleasing but a handcrafted perfume for people who like the art of perfumery
