Cédrat Cologne by Première Matière is to me the perfect scent for a warm summer evening. The opening is pure pleasure a sparkling natural bergamot that feels bright, fresh, and almost sunlit on the skin. It’s not a sharp or synthetic citrus it’s refined, elegant and beautifully balanced.
What I really appreciate about this fragrance is its minimalism with character. The cédrat adds a transparent, clean radiance, while a subtle warmth in the base keeps it from feeling too fleeting. It stays airy and sophisticated ideal for terrace dinners or summerdate.
Longevity: 6/10.
It lasts reasonably well but this is not a powerhouse and honestly it doesn’t need to be. On warm days its moderate performance works in its favor. Projection is soft to moderate, shining most in the first few hours.
Overall, a refined niche citrus fragrance that focuses on quality and purity rather than brute strength.
