definitely out of surprise, and the smell is still impressive after one day received from beautinow, it smells like a bit sweet and spicy pepper at the beginning for me, and then deeper woody, like I was walking in a woody autumn forest, but not cold I would say, and your destination is some cozy coffee store, so when settled in the coffee store, the feeling is a bit warm, overall will be surprised by its performance, I mean the price makes the things even better

It is in fact a smokey vanilla, like many reviews describe, but sometimes that is difficult to imagine without reference. Smokey vanilla is a broad description of something that deserves nuance. Personally, I own many different smokey vanillas, because they are all unique and appropriate for many different occasions.
Firstly, the most known perhaps, is By the Fireplace by Replica. BtF is a sweeter, more nutty version of a smokey vanilla than Memoirs of a Trespasser. MOAT is far more dry and niche. Don’t be discouraged! MOAT is very unisex and depending on your chemistry, it unfolds beautifully. On me, over time, it becomes very intoxicating.
Compared to Lune Feline EDP, LF is more elegant than MOAT. I imagine a mysterious and seductive woman wearing LF, whereas MOAT fits a confident woman in a boheme outfit, perhaps sporting a tattoo sleeve under her fine knit oversized sweater.
Memoirs of a Trespasser is a unique take on a seductive vanilla scent. I reserve BtF for days when I want to feel cozy and smell sweetly of vanilla. Lune Feline is for those days, when I want to smell a little more elevated. However, MOAT is for those days, when I want heads to turn, when I feel confident in being myself, dare to smell a little different (because the note of clay and guaiac wood do come through), but most of all, those days, when I feel seductive and in what can only be described as “dark feminine energy”.
