Powdery sensations, intensely aromatic with a subtle green touch, and a noticeable fresh spiciness. The opening is well-balanced yet striking. It reminds me of something I’ve smelled before, and upon revisiting it, I seem to detect slightly fruity notes. It’s soft, slightly sweet, and undeniably unisex.
After 10–15 minutes, the green, almost Mediterranean aromatic quality becomes more pronounced, leading smoothly into a beautiful floral heart. I suspect there’s rose, but as someone who doesn’t enjoy it when it’s too dominant, I’d say it feels well-balanced. It’s an elegant fragrance—distinctive yet never overwhelming. Perhaps I’m influenced by the fact that this is an English brand, but that sense of familiarity makes me think of Halfeti.
After about an hour, a leathery nuance emerges, accompanied by something slightly animalic, maybe a hint of cinnamon and a touch of boozy warmth. There’s also a faint trace of incense in the background.
In the drydown, a soft floral note lingers, but leather takes center stage, intertwined with earthy tones—perhaps patchouli and vetiver. It’s a refined leather-floral fragrance, and whether it’s my prior knowledge that this is a Thameen or not, the high quality is unmistakable. Longevity and sillage are both solid.
Unisex and perfect from spring to early summer (with potential for warm summer evenings), this could be an excellent go-to scent for sophisticated evenings or pre-dinner gatherings.
