So… How to describe this one? Not gonna lie, the main reason why I blind bought this one, apart from the note breakdown, was reviews on Fragrantica. I laughed so hard reading them. However, to me, this perfume is simply the experience of the catholic mass. You are in your old, musty, romanesque church, and there is heady incense smoke in the air, old wood heavy in the base. I love the idea behind this line of Sorcinelli’s fragrances – the imposing organ. Of all the registers that I read description of this one was by far the most appealing to buy. Usually, I don’t care when they say this perfume is for colder weather and that one for warmer months. My scent philosophy is that you simply have to learn how to apply it in certain parts of the year. But this heavy woody incense truly shines in winter. Because of how hard it is to pull it off more regularly, I will give it four stars. At the same time, I will probably buy the whole collection. And the packaging is simply stunning. It is recreating the register stops of the Notre-Dame de Paris’ grand organ.
