In my opinion Percival is one of the safest and most versatile niche buys you can think of, up there with Sedley from Parfums the Marly.
Percival works for day and night, for work, gym, dates, and going out. For me the lavender makes it very calming. Wear this and you will smell well put together.
Yes it is a “blue” type of fragrance, but done really nice. Nice easy-grab, high compliment factor. I see it as a good signature scent.

Amazing versatile fragrance that works for every situation and weather. In that sense it’s perfect. Also, during the first hour, it has good projection and sillage, which is pure attraction and masculine, but modern at the same time.
However, I see two defects: it’s very similar in scent (above all, in the dry down) to Montblanc Legend line (I have Montblanc Legend Spirit, and it’s quite similar. They say it’s even more similar to Montblanc Legend Blue). I see Percival’s opening more spicy and higher quality. The other defect is that after that first hour, it’s very skinny scent and the projection and sillage is quite poor with a duration of 6-7 hours. I’d heard it was quite strong during its lifetime and it’s the opposite. I don’t know if the fragrance needs to macerate a bit, but with the test after buying it, the performance was poor. It’s a shame, as the allure is awesome.
