I wouldn’t call this a fecal or an animalic oud. To me it’s quite woody and rubbery. Although it’s not very animalic, I’d say it’s still challenging. It’s dark and strong with character. Reminds me of a dark roasted coffee. Excellent parfumery

This lasts forever! Silver Oud is Fragrance at its best but you have to appreciate OUD….
I have a few “oud” perfumes and they all smell so different. So different that I asked myself whether I could really smell oud in them. I’d heard about all the “fecal” notes, all the “barnyardy” , all the “stinky”, all the “pungent” , “dirty” smells of oud but all I could smell was roses, spices, leather.. in my other oud perfumes. Why? Probably because they contained little if any real Oud ! The perfumers use two microns of oud so that they can use Oud in the name of their perfume! It’s a sales tactic.
Believe me ; Silver Oud is the real thing , the real oud and plenty of it! It’s wonderful ….. once you recover from the first 30 second stink! I still don’t understand how such a horrible smell can become so divine. Cecile Zarokian is a wizard . Silver Oud is addictive Beware !
