Viktor & Rolf Fragrances

Amsterdam-based fashion house Viktor & Rolf is the brainchild of Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren. Known for their creative and brilliant haute-couture runway collections, the fashion artists decided to delve into fragrance to establish a connection between fashion and haute-perfumerie. For them, fashion refers to the aura created by clothing in combination with other items like perfumes.

Viktor & Rolf created its first feminine fragrance, Flowerbomb, in 2004 with much love to accompany the Spring/Summer 2005 collection for women of the same name. The perfume became hugely successful, even inspiring flankers of its own over time. The distinctive “hand grenade” bottle is still highly regarded among fragrance enthusiasts. In 2006, the pair launched their first fragrance for men, Antidote, to complement their men’s collection of the same name.

Viktor and Rolf select the names for their fragrances carefully, ensuring that they capture the spirit of the scent and the outcome of its olfactory profile.
