Masque Milano Perfumes

The perfume house Masque Milano was founded by Riccardo Tedeschi and Alessandro Brun in 2012.

According to the perfume house, just like an opera retains its primary essence despite all the changing elements in every scene, our lives can also retain their core spirit even when we change the "mask" or appearance of the same. To that end, Alessandro and Riccardo create perfumes with a soul. They are meant to be worn like a second skin. Instead of appealing to everyone, they focus on individuality, making an impression on only those who will be able to appreciate its charm.

Alessandro, born and raised in Milan, belonged to a family with multiple artistic pursuits. A year he spent studying in England changed the course of his life. Once he returned to Milan, he decided to become a professor at Politecnico di Milano. Traveling to different countries for work allowed him to develop his scientific research into luxury goods management. He also became familiar with Italian artisan heritage which led him to work with Riccardo on showcasing the unique offerings of every artisan.

Riccardo, on the other hand, was always enthusiastic about the visual arts. Born in Assisi, he experienced the gorgeous Italian countryside to how heart's content. He accepted a consultancy position in Milan at “LVMH parfum et cosmetique”, which allowed him to gain valuable insights into prestigious perfume brands like Dior, Kenzo, and Givenchy. His association with Alessandro began around the same time, while he was also pursuing his postgraduate degree. Alessandro and Riccardo bonded over their love for the arts and fragrance. They established their first perfume house, MASQUE, on April 1, 2010. Their fascination with fine fragrances led them to begin a highly respected educational program in olfactory techniques after years of conducting research in Grasse and Italy. Once they grew familiar with the enchanting world of perfumery, they began experimenting with how they could capture their own memories in a collection of “scenes." As they slowly started to develop their own fragrance "opera" as the "playwrights" and "producers," they decided to work with skilled young noses who could provide the acts and scenes for their artistic endeavor. Masque Fragranze is one of a kind, and its founders are regarded as visionaries in the fragrance world.
