About FUMparFUM
As the first registered niche perfumery brand in Lithuania, FUMparFUM has quickly risen in popularity. Introduced in 2011, it is the brainchild of Aistis Mickevičius, a renowned entertainer in Lithuania with acting credits and hosting experience.
Mickevičius is the nose of FUMparFUM and has developed several unique concoctions over the years. He conceptualized the brand as a creative platform and took the opportunity to delve into conceptual perfumery. Mickevičius studied the art of creating fragrances for several years to fuel his interest before introducing FUMparFUM.
FUMparFUM perfumes are limited edition since they are handmade in a laboratory in Vilnius. Mickevičius ensures that each fragrance consists of only the highest-quality natural and synthetic essences. The brand states:
“All FUMparFUM aromas are in compliance with international IFRA recommendations and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, according to EU standards.”
FUMparFUM creates fragrances with a certain degree of glamour and theatricality. The botanic and molecular blends are sophisticated but sparkly, urban with a touch of vintage. Mickevičius takes inspiration from long-standing European traditions, but his overall approach to perfume-making is modern and fresh. The artist in him goes the extra mile to make every product a creative undertaking with the help of perfume sketches. L’Artiste (Alchemist Charlatan), Golden Sawdust (Black Alchemist), Old Piano (Black Alchemist), The Priest (Black Alchemist), and Drama Queen (Alchemist Charlatan) are some of FUMparFUM’s most popular fragrances.
In recent years, the brand has branched out into home fragrances, toiletries, and more. Aistis Mickevičius, a creative mastermind, has also made beautiful scent installations to display his craft in galleries and exhibitions. He wrote a book about perfumery in 2016, which is available on the FUMparFUM website for sale. The studio has also published books about individual fragrance ingredients.
