Paris-born David Benedek, the CEO of BDK Parfums, grew up surrounded by perfumery. After studying Economics and Management, he enrolled in the Institut Français de la Mode in 2012 to specialize in perfumery and cosmetics. He spent a year studying different raw ingredients and olfactive families, as well as the general craft of perfume-making. While working alongside teams in Givaudan, he became familiar with the subtleties of fragrance. At Institut Cinquieme Sens, he polished his skills further, and his passion for perfumery intensified. By establishing BDK Parfums, he fulfilled his dream of making fragrance-making his career.
