Pop culture icon Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, aka “Queen Bey,” is widely regarded as one of the best entertainers the world has ever seen. With more than 200 million records sold and hundreds of accolades earned, Beyoncé has cemented her legacy in the music industry. She has also, time and again, graced us with visually mesmerizing outfits. As Beyoncé fans, we have all wondered about her fragrance preferences from time to time. Fret not; the singer reportedly loves all the following perfumes.
Emporio Armani Diamonds Intense by Giorgio Armani

Emporio Armani Diamonds Intense is a cozy fruity-floral fragrance that toes the line of being deliciously gourmand. Rich, feminine, and sensual, the blend has a “soft, sweet, and comforting smell,” as per Beyoncé. A lovely floral heart of rose, freesia, and lily-of-the-valley complements the lush top notes of raspberry and litchi. Earthy vetiver and patchouli are juxtaposed against creamy vanilla and cedar in the base.
Emporio Armani Diamonds by Giorgio Armani

Beyoncé is also known to wear Emporio Armani Diamonds by Giorgio Armani, which is more amber-dominant but retains the floral-gourmand note profile characteristic of this collection. Emporio Armani says this fragrance has rose “in a very gourmand way, like a flower that can be eaten.” The opening is luscious, with litchi and raspberry adding a hint of playfulness. Unlike the Intense version, Emporio Armani Diamonds has smooth cedar in the heart, accompanied by the floral heart of rose, freesia, and lily-of-the-valley. The amber-vanilla blend in the base adds an oriental touch, while vetiver helps cut through the sweetness.
Alternative Fruity Perfumes?
Did you know that both Diamonds and Diamonds Intense are both fruity perfumes? If you want to smell like Beyonce, but also more unique, then browse our other fruity perfumes. Especially look out for fruity perfumes with also a woody note, as those will smell similar (and maybe even better!) than Giorgio Armani’s Diamonds perfumes.
Caron Fleur De Rocaille

Launched in 1934, Fleur De Rocaille is a classic floral aldehyde fragrance that has found its way into Beyoncé’s collection. Crafted by Ernest Daltroff, this vintage blend is perfect for the daytime, especially if you love old-timey elegance. Fleur De Rocaille opens on a fresh but floral note, with bergamot, gardenia, violet, and aldehydes being dominant. The heart — made of jasmine, narcissus, rose, carnation, lily-of-the-valley, ylang-ylang, lilac, mimosa, and iris — presents a creamy and luxurious bouquet. The base is deep, warm, and sensual due to the mingling of amber, sandalwood, musk, and cedar.
Fred Hayman 273 for Women

An amber-floral fragrance from the 80s, Fred Hayman 273 was reportedly worn by Beyoncé’s mother. The singer told Allure:“I remember it [273] was the first thing that I wore because I used to steal it from her [her mother]!… I kind of put that fragrance together with stilettos—because I would smell it and hear her footsteps on the hardwood floor.” With the olfactory profile of a vintage floral, Fred Hayman 273 is sweet, luxurious, and elegant. The opening boasts tuberose, peach, gardenia, plum, and jasmine, while the heart is dominated by apricot, ylang-ylang, and orris root. The base — consisting of sandalwood, amber, vetiver, and cedar — is spicy, warm, and sensual.
Beyoncé’s Fragrance Line
Beyoncé has advocated for her own fragrances time and again, assuring fans that she wears them frequently. The iconic Heat — a fiery and bold amber-vanilla fragrance that celebrates feminine sensuality — is one of her favorites. Magnolia, neroli, peach, almond, macaron, honeysuckle, musk, tonka bean, vanilla, and amber are its dominant notes. She also loves Heat Rush — a lively fruity floral with passion fruit, blood orange, cherry, orchid, mango blossom, teak wood, musk, and honey amber.Heat Kissed, Midnight Heat, and Pulse are some of the other fragrances from her line that she wears.Which perfume will you try to smell like Beyoncé?
